The Special Education Program (SEP) at
Keebra Park State High School supports students with a verified disability. We
offer a range of services and support to help reduce barriers to learning
resulting from a disability. Our goal is
to improve student learning experiences, educational outcomes and transition to
post school life for identified students.
The SEP caters for the range of
disabilities:
Case Managers
assigned to each student
assist classroom teachers in the development and delivery of the students’ educational programs
act as a point of contact for parents to discuss issues that may impact on the students education and participation
collaboratively develop and implement Support Plans
Teacher Aides
Speech Language Pathologist
A speech language pathologist visits the
school to work with students who have been identified by the school or parent
and prioritized for a service.
Advisory Teachers
Visiting teachers with specific knowledge
and experience, may also support students who have been diagnosed and verified
as having a hearing impairment, visual impairment or physical impairment.
