State High School adopts a whole-school approach to supporting student
learning.
Specialist staff use formative and summative assessment, along with
parent/caregiver and teacher consultation, to determine and monitor students’
learning requirements throughout the year.
This approach recognises diversity
and promotes a shared commitment to quality teaching and improvement of student
outcomes.
By constantly building teacher capacity, thereby enhancing
differentiation practices and explicit teaching of identified learning needs,
students’ diverse learning needs are catered for by a team of dedicated
teachers who work together to deliver engaging differentiated learning
opportunities.
