Keebra Park holds its annual pathways evening

Careers and Pathways Evening

The recent Pathways Evening held in the library was well attended by parents and students. It provided an excellent opportunity to learn more about the various faculties of the school as well as courses and careers offered by Griffith University QLD Police Service and Gold Coast Institute of TAFE. Thanks to Mr Darren Hart for organisation and set up of display areas.


Senior Education Training Plan Interviews

SET Plan Interviews for around 150 Year 10 students were held this week, the culmination of a term’s career research and subject selection talks. All SET Plans have been sent home for parent signatures and should be returned to their Home Group teacher. Thank you to teachers, Ms Thexton, Ms Devoy, Ms Robinson, Ms Copolov, Ms Fox and Mr Fisher as well as Year 10 Coordinator, Mr Small.


Year 12 Core Skills Test

Year 12 OP students completed the state wide Core Skills Test on Tuesday and Wednesday. We wish all candidates’ success in the test. Thanks to Ms Lucas and Ms Thwaite for the many months of preparation sessions they have conducted for the students throughout the year
