30/11/2016

This year in support of the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal Keebra Park High School our Junior Students will be collecting donations to this charity, for underprivileged families.

Christmas is a time of giving and celebration so let us show how much we care for our community and give back so that all families can enjoy such a wonderful time of year.

So how can you help?

Rummage around in the cupboards at home (with your parents/carers permission) and find a little something for the people who need it most.

Some suggested items:

Tinned Foods: Tinned fruit, vegetables, soups, spaghetti, baked beans and tinned tuna.

Instant noodles, muesli bars, rice cakes and breakfast cereals

Beverages: Long life milk, tea, coffee, sugar, milo, cordial, soft drink and long life juice

A few handy hints:

  • Please make sure the food items are non-perishable (long-life milk, tea, coffee, sugar)

  • Ring-pull tins are preferred

  • Have your home group on the box/container

Each Home group will have a box in the classroom that we would love to fill by 7th December so that we can hand it over to the Salvation Army.

First Homegroup to return their box FILLED with donations will receive a prize.
