Keebra
Park State High School has a very strong vocational education program
giving students in years 10, 11 and 12 the opportunity to take part
in work experience, school based traineeships, Tafe courses, career
days and various programs with guest speakers from various industries
and support groups.
Keebra
works in conjunction with SCISCO (South Coast Industry Schools Coordinating
Organisation) with a wide variety of programs they have to offer and
various group-training organisations for school based traineeships,
full time apprenticeships and job opportunities upon completion of
school. This gives Keebra senior students every opportunity to receive
advice on future career goals and the contacts they will need to achieve

Our school policy is to support
interested students in obtaining a SAT. The school does not
have a set number of SATS nor can we automatically place students
in a SAT. Ms Elizabeth Kershaw is Keebra Park’s Community
Liaison Officer and she works with Senior Schooling HOD, Mr
Howe and with students, parents, industry and SCISCO to place
students in the most appropriate situations. Ms Kershaw and
Mr Howe may be contacted via the school office. Their offices
are situated at the eastern end of the Student Services Building
(Blue Building).
