Eureka Science Competition Entries The 2009 Eureka Schools Prizes is a national competition sponsored by Macquarie University,The University of Sydney and the Australian Museum. It encourages awareness of the sciences and rewards excellence in the investigation of individually chosen scientific research topics. In the past Keebra students have performed with distinction having achieved 4 First places, 5 Second places, a Third place and 3 Fourth places in the last 6 years. In 2009 Keebra Park has one distinguished entry for the Macquarie University Schools Prize for Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences. Visit the website by clicking on the URLbelow. This

2009 Rio Tinto Big Science Competition Approx 32,000 students entered representing all Australian States & Territories, NZ and Singapore. 73 Keebra Park students participated this year and we received 4 Distinctions , 22 Credits and 47 Participations awards Year 8 Year 9 Year 10 Year 11 Year 12 Congratulations to the Four students who finished in the top 5% of the State and were awarded distinctions. Congratulations also to the other 22 students who acheived credits.
